GHK-Cu is really two questions in one vial. The peptide is three residues long and easy enough to make well, and that half we can answer precisely. The copper is where samples come apart, and answering for it properly means elemental analysis on instruments built for metals, which is a different discipline from peptide chemistry. Erie Coast Analytical does not run those instruments. So our certificate tells you about the peptide, in detail, and states in writing that the copper content was not measured. You should treat any lab that blurs that line carefully, because the equipment for one job does not do the other. Peptide identity, measured peptide quantity, and HPLC purity are included in the base test. Endotoxin testing, sterility testing, and heavy metals testing are available as optional add-ons. Total copper and intact complex amount are not established by this testing.

Every GHK-Cu sample moves through the same five steps. No shortcuts for rush orders. No unnamed hands in the middle.
Intake.
Your sample arrives. We photograph it, weigh it, log every detail, and assign a tracking number that follows it onto every page.
Prep.
A named analyst prepares the run: dissolutions, dilutions, internal standards. Their initials go in the log.
Run.
HPLC-UV for peptide purity, mass analysis for peptide identity, and quantitative analysis for peptide amount, with appropriate system-suitability controls.
Review.
A second analyst reviews the chromatogram independently. Nothing ships with one set of eyes on it.
Sign.
The COA is digitally signed, hashed, and published. Anyone with the link can verify the signature against the raw data.
What we look for in GHK-Cu
The peptide, precisely.
The GHK sequence confirmed by intact mass against the published formula, and purity by HPLC-UV as percent area. If the peptide is wrong, short, or dirty, this finds it.
What the numbers cover.
A purity figure on this certificate describes the peptide, not the complex, and not the copper. That distinction is printed on the document so nobody has to guess what they are holding.
What you need a metals lab for.
Total copper content requires ICP-MS, ICP-OES or atomic absorption spectroscopy. We do not run them and will not imply otherwise. There is a subtler trap here too: even when a copper-bound peak appears in a mass spectrum, the published methodology work shows the free-versus-bound ratio it produces does not reliably reflect what was in the powder, because the analysis itself can break the complex apart and reassemble it. If the copper number matters to your work, it belongs at a lab equipped for elemental analysis, and we will tell you what to ask them for.
